This bentwood box "Contrasts" was painted by Kwakwaka'wakw artist Rod Smith. The yellow and red cedar bentwood box has been painted in black, light green, and dark green acrylic on all four sides and on the lid. Rod is perhaps best known for his precise and elegant painting style.
